SwimSafer 2.0 Singapore
The SwimSafer™ 2.0 programme
SwimSafer Singapore is a national water safety program that was developed to raise the standard of swimming proficiency in Singapore. The six-stage programme includes swimsafer level 1,2,3, Swimsafer Bronze, Swimsafer Silver, and Swimsafer Gold. The Survival and activity skills taught each stage of the programme, and work progressively towards the next stage.
At the end of each stage, each child will receive a stage completion e-certificate.
This programme is created especially for children below 16 years old, this program will help evolve your child from a non-swimmer into a good swimmer.
The SwimSafer programme
is based around the concept of "swim saves lives".
National Programme
This programme is aims to reduce drowning fatalities by teaching children how to swim and providing them with the necessary skills. With the SwimSafer program, you can rest assured that your child will learn how to swim safely before they reach their teenage years.
This programme is designed to provide you with the best possible coaching methods and techniques so that your child can learn how to swim safely. With SwimSafer, your child will be able to build up their confidence in the water and become more independent swimmers as they progress through the levels and skillsets.
This is the only program recognised by all schools, institutions and water-related sports (e.g. Kayaking, scuba diving) in Singapore.
All SwimSafer certificates are issued as electronic certificates (e-certs). In order to access an e-cert, the student must have an ActiveSG account PRIOR to registering for the SwimSafer programme. (All candidates 11 or under to have an account register via their parent’s ActiveSG account).
SwimSafer is a comprehensive swimming programme that aims to equip individuals with essential swimming skills and water safety knowledge. Participants are also required to complete a theory component covering essential water safety knowledge and understanding of aquatic environments. To assess their understanding, participants are required to take the SwimSafer quiz, which tests their knowledge of water safety and swimming techniques.
