Geylang East Swimming Complex is situated at a prime location between 3 MRT Stations from 3 different lines – 10 minute walk from MacPherson Station (Circle Line and Downtown Line); 10 minute walk from Paya Lebar Station (Circle Line); and 12 minute walk from Aljunied Station (East West Line). With its accessibility and numerous food options nearby, the Swimming Complex remains popular to this day since its opening in August 1978. A children water play station was added in 2004 after upgrading.
