Swim2u Editorial Standards and Corrections Policy
This policy explains how Swim2u prepares, verifies and updates swimming lesson and programme guidance for Singapore families.
Content ownership
Swim2u lesson and programme guides are prepared by the Swim2u curriculum and coaching team. We use organisation-level attribution unless a named contributor has a public profile with verifiable qualifications and responsibility for the page.
How we verify information
We prioritise primary sources published by the organisation responsible for a programme. For SwimSafer, this means Sport Singapore programme material. For SSI student pathways, this means Swim Schools International programme material. Where a page includes practical coaching guidance, we distinguish that guidance from official assessment or certification rules.
Accuracy and water-safety standards
We do not promise fixed learning timelines, guaranteed assessment results or that any swimmer is drown-proof. Lesson readiness and progression depend on demonstrated skills, appropriate supervision and the judgement of a suitably qualified instructor. Programme requirements and administration may change, so readers should verify current official information before enrolment or assessment.
Independent-guide disclosures
When Swim2u explains a third-party programme, the page identifies Swim2u as an independent lesson provider and links to the relevant primary source. Programme names are used for identification and learner guidance; they do not imply ownership, endorsement or affiliation unless explicitly stated and verifiable.
Reviews, updates and corrections
Important programme guides display a review date and source links. We review affected content when credible new guidance is published or when a substantiated correction is reported. To report an issue, include the page URL and the specific statement that needs review through our contact page.
Reviews and commercial transparency
We do not fabricate customer reviews, qualifications or outcomes. Swim2u is a commercial swimming lesson provider, so some guides contain links to relevant lessons or enquiry options. Commercial calls to action do not replace the independent disclosure, safety advice or primary-source references.
