These terms explain how the course fee refund works for Swim2u swimming instructor trainees. Please read them before you enrol. Eligible trainees may earn back their course fee after completing the required 160 coaching hours with Swim2u, subject to the applicable programme agreement, certification requirements, coaching performance standards and terms and conditions.

1. The 160 Coaching-Hour Requirement

The course fee is reimbursed in full once you complete 160 coaching hours on Swim2u assignments. There is no time limit for completing these hours.

2. Eligibility and Certification

• You must complete your selected course, including at least 10 practical attachment sessions and all required assessments.
• You must meet Swim2u’s work eligibility and suitability requirements.
• Only Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible to work with Swim2u as instructors.

3. Performance and Conduct

Coaches must follow Swim2u’s assignment, attendance and course terms. Rates are reviewed based on coaching performance after 160 hours are completed.

4. How Hours Are Counted

Hours come from lessons completed on Swim2u assignments. Payment for lessons is calculated on the number of lessons completed by the end of each month. To ask about your current hours, contact Swim2u.

5. Refund Amount and Timing

The refund is a full reimbursement of the course fee you paid. It is paid upon completion of your 160 coaching hours.

6. Withdrawal or Incomplete Hours

The refund applies only after 160 coaching hours are completed. If you withdraw before completing 160 coaching hours, no refund is paid.

7. Coaching Availability

Swim2u offers coaching assignments to every eligible certified coach. The number, timing and location of assignments vary with demand, location and instructor capacity.
